Most BMW fans will recognise !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
For those that don’t, here are a few of his greatest hits.
Oh, and then there was this.
Peter Windsor also gives some insight into his departure from BMW in this video about Ron Dennis, getting the boot from Mclaren.
Is there a biography? I feel I’ve read that somewhere, but maybe I’m confusing him with !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (which is a great book btw). If anyone knows please sing out.

Sad to hear. He was an amazing person and one of the best engineers out there. May he rest in peace.

Legend. Always thought it was interesting that the most famous BMW engineer was named. P.Rosche...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
What a rare talent, and what gifts he gave us. I remember one of the Evo Magazine “greatest driver’s car” tests and they had the well known blue F1. The description of that S72 was glorious, and it ended with the phrase, “someone should get Mr. Rosche out of retirement.”

Yeah I remember that. It had aftermarket exhausts on it and was apparently making even more power than normal. I hope someone, somewhere is still driving an F1 hard and using it just like a regular car. Probably not, but it’s a shame to think of them all locked up.
P.Rosche had a good innings though, he was 82.
I came across a couple of articles celebrating when he turned 80, whilst writing this.
